About the role
At Semtrix, Search means SEO and GEO from a single source. You won't work in an isolated department, but support our Search Consultants across every area, from keyword analysis to GEO to reporting – learning modern search engine and AI marketing right where it's practiced.
Your responsibilities

Keyword & competitor analysis: You research keywords and analyze SERPs and competitors using tools like Ahrefs, Sistrix, and Semrush
Content support: You create and optimize editorial content and briefings – structured for both SEO and GEO
GEO analysis: You check how visible our clients are in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and AI Overviews, and help optimize that visibility
Technical SEO: You help with crawls and audits (Screaming Frog, Google Search Console) and learn to identify technical issues
Reporting: You help with analyses and client reports

You're currently enrolled as a student and want to work 12–20 hours per week
You have an affinity for the internet and feel at home in digital media – ideally you're already an active user of AI tools like ChatGPT
Excellent German skills for editorial work
You're comfortable working with MS Office
You're curious, learn quickly, and work independently
You're open, positive, creative, and team-oriented
