Over ten years of Semtrix: a story of clear goals, steady growth and a team that has walked every stage together.
The first steps
In 2015 we found Semtrix GmbH with a clear goal: bring SEO closer to the companies that trust us. In the very year we're founded, the first office opens on Düsseldorf's Rethelstraße, while the team in Essen starts in parallel. By 2016 things get tighter, the team grows, and the move to Rüttenscheid and the 200th client project mark early milestones.
Growth and profile
In these years we grow steadily and sharpen our structure: the 300th client project follows in 2017, the 400th in 2018, alongside a new corporate design. In 2019 the whole Essen team moves into what is now the Semtrix villa in Bredeney, while the client base grows past 500 projects.
Moving forward through challenging times
The pandemic tests many companies, us included. We use the time for a rebrand and a clear strategic realignment. The effort pays off: in 2022 we reach a major milestone with our 1,000th client project.
Going international
In 2023 we keep up our growth. In 2024 Semtrix becomes part of the Eskimoz Group and gains access to an international network with offices in five countries. The same year, the Düsseldorf team moves into new premises on Wehrhahn.
Looking ahead
In 2025 we celebrate ten years of Semtrix. Today around 40 experts work out of Düsseldorf and Essen on tailored strategies. Over 1,500 client projects form the foundation of experience that flows into every collaboration. What drives us is looking ahead: with clear goals and an international outlook.
Semtrix by Eskimoz
From October 2026 we appear as Semtrix by Eskimoz. With a new brand identity, we sharpen our profile as a Global Search agency that thinks SEO, SEA and GEO together. Personally supported in Düsseldorf and Essen, connected across Europe through the Eskimoz Group, we keep working on what counts: sustainable visibility and measurable success for our clients.

Since 2015 we've been making companies visible online. As Semtrix by Eskimoz we think of search as a whole: SEO, SEA and GEO work together so that visibility turns into measurable success.
We combine solid analysis, clean delivery and personal support, across SEO, SEA, GEO, link marketing and web design. Around 40 experts work out of two offices in Düsseldorf and Essen on tailored strategies for start-ups, mid-sized companies and larger brands. Over 1,500 client projects since 2015 form the foundation of experience that flows into every collaboration.
Through the Eskimoz Group, named Best Large Integrated Search Agency at the European Search Awards 2026, we're connected across Europe. We treat GEO as a discipline in its own right, equal in rank to classic search engine optimization, with our own GEO and LLM tracking.
